Wolf Clan is an ode to the matrilineal Wolf Clan of the Haudenosaunee. This painting uses three identical images to highlight different aspects of the painting. A grey wolf in midstep trots along a snow ground within a diamond-shaped frame decorated with traditional Haudenosaunee patterns. The cool blue background with purple designs creates a secondary framing effect for the wolf. Pops of light blue add an interesting element to the painting.
