Snipe Clan is an ode to the matrilineal Snipe Clan of the Haudenosaunee. This painting uses three identical images to highlight different aspects of the painting. A snipe is featured perched on a wooden post within a diamond-shaped frame decorated with traditional Haudenosaunee patterns. Tans, blues, and whites make up the color palette.
